How I got into Crypto
I still don't know what I want, but the story of getting into crypto is something I will always remember.
I got a master’s in entertainment management because it included a 1-year program in Los Angeles, and I wanted to live in Los Angeles. I worked in Hollywood as a casting intern, a production intern, and also took a gig at an influencer agency focused on TikTok creators. I didn’t like it because it made me feel like a peasant and I felt poor. I had to find a job for visa reasons which ultimately meant switching careers, and I found many job postings in the blockchain/crypto space. So I made the decision!
It was actually much easier than I expected. The industry was still very new, people were making a lot of money and were thus blinded by people’s capabilities and were just drawn to anyone interested in growing the space, and achieving “mass adoption” - so I had to actually learn about what the fuck all of this means.
