  1. Saying hi to people you (kind of) know

I denounce the norm of needing an “official” introduction to someone for you to officially know them. When you walk into a place and see someone you know only by name (who likely also knows you by name) but you just don’t say hi because there was never an official or acceptable way for you to actually meet. 

Everyone knows everyone, so let’s not beat around the bush and pretend we don’t know a friend of a friend when we run into them somewhere.

I let go of any thoughts that deter me from meeting someone new. I have had countless interactions with people where I would simply go up to them and introduce myself. Sometimes we become friends, most of the time we just end up as acquaintances, almost all the time it leads to something positive. Say hi to people you kind of know.
